You’ve probably often heard one of the best ways to produce the result you want is to discover a leader who is presently producing the result you would like.
Find out, specifically, what it is they did and are doing to produce that result.
Then simply copy them and your success is virtually guaranteed. However, getting started may sometimes still be overwhelming.
Here are 6 basic guidelines to get you started.
1. Treat your Network Marketing business like a business and not a hobby and it will compensate you like a business as opposed to costing you money like a hobby. It doesn’t matter what your financial goals are it’s still a business.
2. Schedule time to work on your home business. Everything in life that’s important we schedule. You set your alarm clock because not showing up or showing up late is the best way to lose your job. So if you are intent on building a huge business, schedule time to work on your business.
3. Take the time to write down short term and long-term goals. Goals are like sign posts. They are designed to keep you focused and keep you on track. If you don’t know where you are going, how do you ever expect to get there.
4. Sharing isn’t selling. Understand the only way you make money in network marketing is when you sell your product or service and when you sponsor a new team member. Retailing and recruiting is the name of the game and what gets you paid. If you want to take advantage of the leverage the Network Marketing industry provides you need to build a team.
5. MLM success is entirely dependent on your ability to consistently present your products and opportunity on a regular basis over a long period of time. Attract or find people who are already looking for what you have to offer. Sort, sort, sort-not everyone is ready or a good match for you and your business.
6. Find a way. Your sponsor or maybe even your upline may end up not being there for you, it happens. Don’t use that as an excuse for a lack of success. There are people out there that have achieved success without the advantage of an upline leader. They went out there and learned everything they could and found leaders that were willing to help. They found mastermind groups that were in alignment with their goals.
Ultimately success is in your hands. The time, effort and energy you put forth will make all the difference. We all have good days and bad. We all have struggles and triumphs. We are all human with flaws and shortcomings. The true beauty of it all is our capacity for growth and compassion. You are awesome.
