The 7 Habits by Stephen R. Covey

I just finished reading this book and recommend you add it to your personal development list. Change comes from the inside out. You should be doing personal development everyday. Reading or listening to cd's while you're in the car. We get bombarded every day with negative news from the media and from all around us. You need to be pro active about staying on the right track.

How much time do you spend listening to people complain at work or home or anytime you're around other people.We all have times when when we let that negative energy creep into our minds. The best thing would be not to let it creep in, in the first place. But if it does remember negative and positive thoughts cannot take up the same space at the same time in your head. Push out the negativity with positive thoughts and energy.

I'm not saying it's easy but the more you do it the more natural it becomes. Eventually you won't need to work so hard to be positve. Don't let other people tell you it's a waste of time. They aren't in charge of your life. You are.
