Here's one more resource for your splash page or any other site like a networking site or your blog. The site I use to build forms is FormLogix.com They have a free form builder. If you use the free one your form will have a link back to Form Logix and a sponsored link. The sponsored link is how they generate income so you can have a free form builder.

You can also pay per form which will remove these links from your form. For a stand alone splash page I use the paid form. For places like networking sites and similar sites I use the free one. Which one you use is up to you. Now I know some basic html tags but I'm no webmaster. They have pretty good tutorials that show you how to build your forms and how to use the different features.

Building a basic form is pretty simple. Once you copy and paste the form code onto your website any completed forms are emailed to the address you register with. Once you have the form test it out. Go to your website and fill out the form to make sure everything's working right. Next get your webpage out there and start building your list!
