MLM Network Marketing Blogs-Drive traffic with Social Networks

There's plenty of social networking sites out there. Some are geared toward network marketing like Direct Matches and Bizpreneur. My space has become a popular business networking site. Some other are Ryze, Ecademy, Adlandpro and many more. Google social networking sites and look around. You can also google specific sites on MLM or network marketing. They can also be groups who have similar interests as you. Whether it's nutrition, pets or any hobby.

No matter where you go don't try to "get people into your deal". That's just annoying and there's already too many people out there doing that AND it doesn't work. On most networking sites there's an area to post comments on people's profile. Stop by to say hello or thank you, treat them like a friend not a prospect. Leave your blog link at the end of your message. If you know a little html make it interesting so people will click on it out of curiousity. If you've done your blog right it shouldn't be a big advertisment for your MLM or network marketing opportunity.

On any networking site you'll have a profile where you can tell a little about yourself. Include something about your blog. Even if you just started a blog a week ago ask for input. If you have information or a story on your blog that will help someone let them know. You can also use these techniques on forums. People are always willing to help if there's no agenda involved. Spend a little time everyday even if it's 15 minutes. Connecting with people for 15 minutes a day over time wll bring you some great results. Remember the the Slight Edge.

Your Network Marketing Blog-Traffic by Article Submission

Getting yourself out there can be a daunting task. A network marketing blog is one great way to do that. Your blog should be useful, interesting and informative and a way to let people know who are. Add a personal touch but if no one knows about your blog they'll never get to know who you are or what you stand for. There's quite a few ways to drive traffic to your blog.

  • Article Submissions
  • Social Networking Sites
  • Email Signature Lines
  • Blog Directories
  • Leveraging Other Blogs

I'm going to go over all these methods one at a time. Let's start with Article Submissions. First, what do you write about? Don't think you're a writer? Anyone can write. Remember you're not going for a Pulitzer here. Do I think I'm a writer? Not particularly. I have a few articles out but I've let myself get away from doing that, shame on me. Oh no, I'm not perfect...Kidding. In the beginning I struggled with what to write about. Here's a few tips.

  • Write about what you know
  • Write about what's important to you
  • Look at other articles for inspiration
  • Write something useful
  • BE YOURSELF

There's quite a few article directories out there EzineArticles.com  and GoArticles.com  are a good place to start. Google "article directories" you'll get a lot. There's some debate on how many directories to submit to. Some people pick a few, some do 100's. I prefer to write as high a quality article as possible, that's basically something that is useful to the reader and submit it to a few high traffic directories.  Other directories and ezine authors will pick up your article if there's good content.

When you find a directory read the submission guidelines. There will be rules for formatting, using links and so on. You don't want to invest your time and not be published because you didn't follow the guidelines. The resource box is very important. This is where you'll say a little about yourself and include your blog link. Again read the guidelines for the resource box. If you do an article that ties into one of your products (not a sales pitch) you can include that link. A good splash or lead capture page would be best. Same goes if you decide to link to your network marketing opportunity.

Well that's my advice. What are you waiting for? Get writing!

By the way-don't forget the spellcheck!
