The Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda Syndrome

I probably don't need to explain that title. We've all been there. I should have done that, I could have done this, what would've have happened if...? We sit and think of all the things that could have been and in the mean time nothing changes. How often have you let this thinking stall your network marketing business.

You get off the phone with a prospect and think how much better of a job you could've done. When they asked that question you should have said...If only I did it that way or this way where would I be now? Well, my advice? Get over it. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes.

I've spent a lot of time in woulda, shoulda, coulda land and you know what, it's a boring, barren unproductive, life sucking place. Instead of worrying about what you didn't say, for example when talking to a prospect, write down the conversation, how can you improve it? Learn from it and move on. When we learn new skills we get better by doing, over and over. Not by hesitating or procrastinating.

Your business won't fall apart if you make mistakes. If that happened no one would succeed. Do you think the top income earners in network marketing don't make mistakes or aren't uncertain from time to time? Please, they are human after all.  One more thing always take advantage of the support in your company and on your team. Find a work out partner, no one does it alone.
