If Network Marketing is so great why isn't Everyone Doing it?

Have you ever been asked this question? It does reveal something about the person whose asking. We all have a certain way of thinking, of looking at things. We can't help it. The way we think is formed by habit. It's what we hear, what we see and what we learn all through our lives. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. We grow up, go to school, get a job and work for 40 or 50 years and retire.

To make any changes in our lives whether it's our health, our relationships or our finances the first thing we need to do is change the way we think. I'm not saying it's easy but it's absolutely possible. Did you ever try to change a habit? It took me months just to get into the habit of putting my keys on the the little hook instead of throwing them where ever when I got home.

At some point in our lives we get a job. It's a given that you have to go to work if you want to keep your job. If you called in and said you weren't coming in because you didn't feel like what would happen? You'd probably get fired. What happens if you don't feel like working your business today? Well a lot of people just don't. There's no immediate consequences. No one's going to call you and say your fired from your network marketing business.

Working your business is a habit formed through doing. It's working when you don't feel like it or when your friends are doing something fun or because you're tired or your having a bad day. Breaking an old habit or forming new ones can be challenging. For some people it's just plain easier to have someone else tell them what they have to do, like a boss and some people already love what they do.

And you know what? That's ok because we'll always need doctors, teachers, waitresses, carpenters and plumbers. Those people are a vital part of our lives. They're important people. I admire anyone who takes pride in what they do no matter what profession they've chosen. Here's the bottom line if you're talking to some one whose really not interested in network marketing leave them alone! Whether they love what they do or are limited by the their thinking the timing just isn't right for them. Maybe some day the timing will be right and maybe not.

The most important thing is what are you thinking? Are you willing to leave the job mentality behind and do what you need to do to reach your goals. Are you willing to do the personal development necessary to change and grow into the person that you need to be? Are you willing to stop listening to people who can't help you and listen to the people who can? Are you willing to develop the habits for success?

Networking Marketing and Direct Sales are not for everyone but if you find a company and product you believe in, then it can be very rewarding. I am new to it all but I am enjoying the learning experience and watching my business grow. Good luck with your endeavours!
