Network Marketing-Secret #1 of Rich Networkers

When it comes to your network marketing business are you an amateur or a professional? I'm not talking about how long you've been in network marketing or how much you know or the size of your check or even if you've gotten a check yet. I'm talking about your daily activities and your commitment. I'd like to share some invaluable training that opened my eyes a while back.

A Professional Networker gets paid for Sponsoring others and Creating customers.

So what are some amateur activities.

  • Surfing the web. Often disguised as "research"
  • Reading every email as it comes in-I might miss something important
  • Creating the perfect website-I can't publish until it's exactly right
  • Spending more time planning and improving than doing.
  • Procrastination have more time tomorrow or better prepared-until tomorrow comes

Think about what you did today, yesterday or last week. How much time did you spend doing amateur activities? How many people did you talk to about creating residual income with network marketing? How many people did you introduce to a product that could help them? How many prospects did you follow up with?

If you find you're spending most of your time doing amateur activities don't beat yourself up over it. Just make the commitment to do the activities that will allow you to-sponsor other people and create customers. Am I guilty of doing amateur activities? Absolutely. Sometimes I still do-after I do the professional activities. Sometimes you have to sit yourself down and look at exactly what you're doing and thinking. You may not always be happy with what you find but you can't fix something until you know what the problem is.
