Enjoy your Thanksgiving even if your Family drives you Nuts

thankful.gif

I remember when I was a kid, spending time with my family on hoildays, I always had a great time. I liked hanging out with my uncles. They were always so much fun to be around. Sometimes my Mom would make me sit with the ladies of the family. I always found that a little boring. I remember seeing a lot of eye rolling between different family members and it always made me laugh. See, as a kid you don't think about holiday's being anything but a reason to eat a lot and have fun.

Holiday's are sometimes the only chance you get to see everyone. Inevitably someone will get annoyed at someone else but so what? Get over it and enjoy the day. Think of all the things you are thankful for. It could be that you have a roof over your head, food in the fridge, a car that gets you to where you need to go and your family. Parents, children, grand children, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and friends.

If you found yourself one day with nothing, what would you miss? If you are not grateful for what you have now, how can you expect to recieve what you wish or dream for later. As your listening to the hustle and bustle around the table look around and give thanks for all the wonderful things you have in your life right now, in this moment.

Enjoy Each Day to the Fullest,

Janet
