Don't give Your Network Marketing Business CD's to Just Anyone

But wait! "Isn't it better to give one to everyone I meet". That's fine if you don't need to stick to a budget. People love free stuff! Some people will take anything if it's free, even if they have no intention of listening to your Network Marketing business or product cd or maybe they just want to get away from you. Sound harsh? Maybe but it's the way it is.

You know what? That's ok. You only want to talk to people who want what you have. It's nothing personal if they're not interested, maybe the timing isn't right, maybe they're just not ready. That's where the relationship comes in. Instead of being a pushy salesman be someone who wants to help. If and when they're ready they'll think of you.

Before you give your cd or dvd or brochure to someone, you want to qualify them first. It could be as simple as asking "Is this something you're interested in?" or "would you like more information?" If the answer is no-leave them alone. Change the subject and build the relationship, it's ok to give them a business card so they can get in touch with if they change their mind.

If you give them information make sure you get their contact information, tell them you'll give a call in a few days and tell them you need the cd back for someone else who wants to listen to it. If you don't follow up you're still wasting your money by giving them anything. Your time and money is as valuable as anyone else's. Make the most of both.
