I sit at my computer thinking of the things I should get done. I wonder if I have what it takes to succeed, to reach a goal that feels like an impossibility. Can you see through me?
Am I a fraud?
Am I worthy?
I only have one answer.
Stop worrying about what I can't do and do what I can.
If you spend all your time worrying about what you're not good at, you'll never be good at anything.
I know more than some and less then others. So I need to keep getting better at what I know and learn the skills that will help me reach my goals. I need to figure out what my goals are.
Sometimes you need a kick in the pants and for some of us we need to do it ourselves. I'm around enough people who complain and whine and blame others for their life situation, I don't need to listen to myself do it too.
In today's world transparency and authenticity is not a gimmick but a neccessity. The internet's a crowded place. People promise you the world. Over promising and under delivering is still common place. Pretending to be something your not is not only dishonest but it's hard work.
It diminishes who you really are and what you're capable of accomplishing. I relate to everyone out there who questions their abilities and their self worth and it can be debilitating. It holds you hostage, keeping you bound to a mediocre life.
Keep working, moving forward and you will become an expert at something. You will become someone people look to for answers and guidance. The people who need you will find you no matter where you are in your journey.
Not everyone will see your potential. They won't tag along to watch you grow. They won't support or encourage you but...
you will meet people along the way who will care about your growth and success. People who will give you words of encouragement and point you towards the resources you need even when you don't realize what you need.
Your part in all of this is to be real. Pick a goal, map it out and work towards it. If you pretend to be someone you're not others will see it.
To reach your goals you need to make a decision, commit to the work and do the work.
The first thing you need to do is to make a decision. Next is to make the commitment to do the work and finally do the work. Consistency is the key to reaching your goals. The amount of time you have to work with is less important then what you do with the time you have.
Prioritize your daily tasks and plan out your time. I'm one of those people who tend to easily get lost if I don't organize well, sometimes I need to set an alarm to snap my attention back to where it belongs and finish the task at hand.
In the end your success or lack thereof is dependent on you. Build on your strengths and minimize your weaknesses. Be honest with yourself and others will see the real you and that's a good thing. Don't worry about impressing others just be the best self you can be.
P.S. Do you have any recommendations to organize and execute daily tasks?
